We had a nice visit with the McFarlands this last weekend. Diana was taking some classes in Vancouver so we met Lyle and the girls on Saturday for an outing in Portland. We went to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). The kids all had a great time. Lyle joined us in the praise team on Sunday morning with his bass which was awesome because we miss jamming with him. Several members of the church were asking him what he does for a living so they can find him a job down here. It was so great to see them and have the girls play together.
Emily and Rachel have played together since they were infants. We met the McFarlands when we started attending Bethany Bible in Kenmore. Rachel and Emily were pals in the nursery there. It is so neat to see that even though there is quite a distance in between their homes, they are still great friends. Emily misses you, Rachel!
The weather was a bit rainy and the wind a little chilly but still it was a BEAUTIFUL day to celebrate Christ's resurrection and victory over death. We are so thankful for God's provision in our lives. Isn't He wonderful? Every time Ryan or I might get worried about how something in our lives is going to work out God always gives us a reminder of how much he loves us and how he is watching over us. He ALWAYS provides for our needs! We trust you all had a wonderful day! We'll leave you with some pics of the family enjoying the day.
