There was no school the end of this week because of mid-winter break so we decided to take a little family trip. We headed down the Oregon coast to Tillamook on Thursday. We went swimming as a family at the hotel pool and the next morning we went to the Tillamook cheese factory and watched some hard workers slice, package and inspect all the cheese. I think the kids' favorite part was getting an ice cream cone at the end. The Tillamook ice cream you buy there is somehow even better than the stuff you buy in the store!
We stopped on our way down at this lookout over the coastline. The clouds were low on the water and it looked like we were in an airplane flying above the clouds from our viewpoint there.
