So my brother and sister-in-law had a new baby in September and I was so excited for them and already missing the newborn stage and had to see baby Emilia . . . so the first weekend in November Bowen and I left on a jet plane to Houston.

Bowen had fun because they have toys at their house just like at his house.

This is sweet Emilia. It was very nice to make her acquaintance.

And this is adorable Julia, who talks up a storm! Very funny little girl! She kept me entertained.

This is a quilt! The weekend I was there the International Quilt Show was going on. There was hundreds of amazing quilts - works of art are more like it. I was so inspired I thought maybe I should try to make a quilt. Hah! That will be the day. Raquel and I decided I should try to quilt something small so I want to try to quilt a potholder. I came home and finished the curtains I had been working on for Alaina and Lila's room at least. Thank you quilters of the world for inspiring me so I finally finished the curtains. Thank you Neil, Raquel, Julia and Emilia for your hospitality and for a wonderful weekend in Houston!!
