Happy Easter!

The weather was a bit rainy and the wind a little chilly but still it was a BEAUTIFUL day to celebrate Christ's resurrection and victory over death. We are so thankful for God's provision in our lives. Isn't He wonderful? Every time Ryan or I might get worried about how something in our lives is going to work out God always gives us a reminder of how much he loves us and how he is watching over us. He ALWAYS provides for our needs! We trust you all had a wonderful day! We'll leave you with some pics of the family enjoying the day.

Happy Birthday Lila!

Today was Lila's 3rd birthday. She's been telling people she is 3 for quite some time so today we made it official. When given the choice of what to have for dinner Lila requested pancakes. After dinner the long awaited opening of the presents began. Lila received many beautiful dresses which pleased her greatly as did the pink bathing suit, "church shoes" (as she labeled the sandals), books, and ponies. Lila also requested chocolate cake and ice cream. She had difficulty blowing out the three candles so we helped her out because we were afraid there would be a lot of spit on the cake if we gave her any more chances. All the kids had fun celebrating with Lila. We thank God for you little Lila Faith!

I'll have to upload some pics tomorrow - blogger is having problems right now and I can't get them to post!

Coasting

There was no school the end of this week because of mid-winter break so we decided to take a little family trip. We headed down the Oregon coast to Tillamook on Thursday. We went swimming as a family at the hotel pool and the next morning we went to the Tillamook cheese factory and watched some hard workers slice, package and inspect all the cheese. I think the kids' favorite part was getting an ice cream cone at the end. The Tillamook ice cream you buy there is somehow even better than the stuff you buy in the store! We stopped on our way down at this lookout over the coastline. The clouds were low on the water and it looked like we were in an airplane flying above the clouds from our viewpoint there.
