I've been outside working these last couple of days on the landscaping at the entrance to our grand estate. Now we have plants growing in the dirt that surrounds us! Most of the plants we selected are blooming or soon-to-be-blooming and they really brighten the place up. I especially love the rhododendrons we found.

Happy Easter!
Another amazing thing is talking with Emily and Alaina this year about the real meaning of Easter. They know all about the bunnies and candy but they also know MOST IMPORTANTLY that Jesus is Alive! Praise God for all he has done in our lives! Praise Jesus - our risen Savior! Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed!
Thank you Aunt Tami for the adorable outfit for Rylan! He received many compliments at church.

Throwing Rocks
Mike and Kari, James, Drew and Elias Nelson payed us a visit this weekend. There was never a dull moment with 7 children in the house. Throwing rocks into the pond was the highlight of the visit. A ride on the excavator came in a close second. Hide-n-seek came in third place. Below is a picture of Lila, Emily, Alaina, Drew, and James counting to 50 as they waited for Ryan to hide.

Spring Concert
Emily participated in her first concert at school. She got to sing 3 songs with her fellow kindergartners. The "Shaky Egg" song was a hit because they each got to shake a plastic egg full of rice. Emily thought it was all pretty fun except for the part where she had to sit on the gym floor while the big kids sang. That was "boring".
