Bowen in a Box

I always love getting packages in the mail.

Bo does too because it means he gets to play in the box.

At the Cabin (Continued Yet Again)

Ok, this is my last cabin post, I promise! I had to include these great shots of the kids at the beach.

What is vacation without trips to the beach and lots of sand??
What kid doesn't love playing in the sand?

Mine love it. In fact, when its time to pack up, they take as much sand as they can into the car with them.

Love the sand.

These two guys are cute, eh? That's Bowen and his buddy Caleb.

And here is the whole crew. The crazy friends of ours that actually want to hang out with us each summer. We had a blast!

Four Wheeling - At the Cabin Continued

I have so many pictures from our vacation! So here is another post from our time at the cabin.

One thing the kids always look forward to is 4 wheeling. When we left the grass was matted down in a circular pattern around the cabin.

The circular path was made all the more exciting when the sprinklers came on.

Even Bo had his time in the driver's seat!

At the Cabin

After our day at Silverwood (next time we'll have to take 2 days because there is a lot to do there) we headed down the road to spend some time with friends at a cabin in Donnelly, ID.

(This is Rylan's little buddy Owen.)

One of the many activities we enjoyed at the cabin was running and/or jumping

through the sprinkler.

It's a perfect way to cool off in the hot Idaho sun.

Silverwood Theme Park

After our eventful first day of travel we reached our hotel in Spokane. First on our agenda for the next day was Silverwood Theme Park.

Ryan has memories of Silverwood from his childhood. They have added a lot since he had been there.
They had lots of great rides for the kids and some roller coasters that I can't believe my girls wanted to go on!

This is what Bo and I did. . .

And we watched. And took pictures. Here we are on the train ride . . .

Bo was getting pretty tired by then.

We lasted all day. We were there when the gates opened at 11 and went back to the hotel at 9. And once the kids were in bed there was no talking. They were so tired from their day they were out faster than you could say, "We love Silverwood Theme Park!!"
