Clubhouse Construction - Stage 1

One of our goals for Mid-Winter break was to build a clubhouse for the kids. Its a project we have talked about for a long time. We had some nice weather, so we got to it.
These pictures show the kids painting the floor. We do have some walls up now and part of the roof. I will update with more pictures as the construction continues.

Discovery Museum

We took a trip down to Salem during mid-winter break and stopped by the A.C. Gilbert Discovery Village (http://www.acgilbert.org/).
The kids had a ball!

I think their favorite by far was the grocery store . . .

They loved picking out groceries, and then going through the checkout process.

We celebrated Lila's 5th birthday on Monday.
Alaina is so jealous that Lila now has more Webkinz than her.

Off to the Zoo

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful warm sunny day and go to the zoo last weekend.

Friends

Isn't it great seeing friends you haven't seen for awhile? The McFarland family came down for a visit and we really enjoyed catching up with them. The kids picked up right where they left off a year ago and were best of friends once again.

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best

things you can be.
