The kids and I made a quick trip up to see Great Grandma last weekend. We hadn't been up to see her new place at the Senior Center. She has it set up all cozy and we had a great time hanging out with her and meeting some of her friends there. 
The girls got spoiled by all the treats Grandma had for them - donuts, ice cream, and yo-gos to name a few. It was a fun day. Thank you Grandma for putting us up!
Last Thursday morning a cement truck carefully backed its way up our steep driveway to the top of the hill. It brought lots of cement to fill the form for our garage! Keith, Arvid, Dad, and Ryan worked hard at pouring, then smoothing the cement. 
Rylan was so excited to see lots of guys show up at our house - especially since they were driving big trucks! Here he is watching his Daddy at work. He sits on on the porch swing and takes in everything Daddy does. I think he'll be quite the helper someday.
Our oldest is going to be a first grader! Today was Emily's "Kindergarten Celebration" and we celebrated her making it through her first year of school. Here she is singing some songs with her classmates and then posing with her teacher, Mrs. Cothren. She goes to school tomorrow for a field day but then she is off for the rest of the summer! We are so proud of our biggest little girl!
Uncle Neil and Aunt Raquel visited family in Brazil a couple of weeks ago. Whenever they go they bring back the most beautiful dresses for the girls. Here they are wearing the sundresses Neil and Raquel sent. 
I'll have to post a pic of the party dresses later. They will wear them tomorrow for church I'm sure. I have to say the matching purses were a big hit as well. No, Rylan didn't get a dress. He received a Brazilian soccer uniform. I'll have to post that later too - Thanks N & R for the presents. They love them!
