Hello?

 Are you all listening out there?  I just wanted to tell you about my cool big brother.

 I think my brother, Rylan is the best!  He likes to help me ride my bike.

 I'm not big enough for my bike yet so Rylan holds me up the whole time that he drives me around the yard.

 He wouldn't let me fall.

You see what a great guy he is?  I love him alot.

Grandma Rylan

 Had to add these pictures of Rylan wearing Emily's costume.  I was laughing so hard at him in that wig and glasses it made my side hurt.

Happy Halloween

 The 2012 Trick-or-treating troupe . . .

That's my attempt at a zebra costume.  Lila looked cute in it.

This was the first year we were able to trick-or-treat at Great Grandma's house now that she lives closer.  Of course the candy eating was way off the charts and will continue to be for the next couple of days.  Fun as always!

Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

 Well, the day we went to the pumpkin patch was the first day is rained after 80 some days of no rain.

 Had to get the raincoats out.

 At least the corn maze wasn't as muddy as it was last year.

 And there was a large tent that housed a hay maze that the kids enjoyed.

 Bowen had fun.  He even said "cheese" for a couple pictures.

  If I try to take too many though, he charges the camera.  :)

Boys With Haircuts

The boys got a haircut last week.  You see all that chocolate all over Bo's mouth?  That's because he needs to be rewarded for sitting still for a haircut.  The whole experience with that noisy razor coming close to his ears gets a little stressful.  He looks so much better when we can see his ears though that I'll just have to keep bribing him with chocolate.

Fun With Family

When my brother and his family came to visit at the beginning of the month we went on a few outings with them and had some fun times!  Here are just a few of them:

 walking out to Haystack Rock

 at Cannon Beach,

learning a little about American history and exploring the planes at Tillamook Air Museum

And just enjoying some quality time

with family.

Rylan's 6th Birthday

 Rylan was blessed to have his Aunt Raquel and Uncle Neil visiting during his birthday this year.

 Aunt Raquel really knows how to throw birthday parties!  We had a party for Rylan and his two cousins, Julia and Emilia.

Julia turned 3, Emilia turned 1 and then there was the 6 year old.

 Rylan chose a construction theme.

 That is his cool cake created by Raquel.

 Uncle Neil is the master balloon man so there were lots of balloons for the kids to play with.

And this is the family tree that Raquel made for the party of everyone that was able to be there to celebrate.  Can you see all of our heads?

First Day of School

 The summer got away from me as far as blogging went.  Bowen and Rylan had lots of adventures together.  Then school started!

 Rylan is in kindergarten!

 Lila is a 2nd grader!

Alaina is a 4th grader!

And Emily started middle school as a 6th grader.

Bowen is happy to play at home for now which I am very glad about.

These kids were sure excited to start school.  It should be a great year!
