My friend Tina is starting a new business at her ranch by offering themed birthday parties.
One of the themes she offers is "Little House on the Prairie" and she kicked it off by throwing her daughter, Jansi, a Little House birthday party.
My kids were excited about this because we have recently finished watching some of the 9 seasons of Little House (thank you, Netflix) and they love to pretend play that they are in Walnut Grove and living life as Laura, Mary, and Carrie.
Tina had these cute dresses and bonnets made and watching the kids run around the ranch almost made me think I was there living with the Ingalls.
The girls camped out that night in a tepee and came to church the next morning in their prairie dresses and bonnets.
It was a real fun time!

That is my favorite TV show, ever! I have several of the seasons on DVD that have been given to me through the years. My kids used to love watching them with me when they were little. Thankfully Luke still really likes them, but he is the only one who will sit and watch them with me anymore... :)
